PTHE 8916 - Service-Learning Practicum in Interprofessional Collaborative Practice

90 practicum contact hours per semester. P: Admission to a physical therapy graduate program or consent of graduate program coordinator/director. Prepares students to provide team-based healthcare to local or global underserved or marginalized populations by exploring the tenets of service-learning, social determinants of health, and interprofessional collaborative care. Integrates reflection, and cooperative and experiential learning while providing pro bono healthcare services to local or global communities.
