The mission of the College of Nursing (CON) is to serve as a national model for transforming the health of rural underserved regions through excellence and innovation in nursing education, leadership, research, scholarship and practice.

Accreditation

The Post Master’s Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certificate, Nursing, MSN , and Nursing Practice, DNP  programs at East Carolina University College of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.

The Nursing Practice, DNP  nurse anesthesia program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, 222 S. Prospect Avenue, Park Ridge, Ill 60068-4001; 847-692-7050.

The Nursing, MSN  nurse-midwifery program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) c/o American College of Nurse-Midwives, Suite 1230, 8403 Colesville Road, Suite 1550, Silver Spring, MD 20910; 240-485-1802.
