African and African American Studies Minor

A course may not be counted for both the student’s major and minor in AAAS.

Minimum requirement for the African and African American studies minor is 18 s.h. as follows:

1. Core - 6 s.h.

AAAS 1000 - Introduction to African and African American Studies
AAAS 2500 - Theory and Methods in African and African American Studies

2. Electives - 12 s.h.

Choose any combination of African and African American Studies, BA concentration courses.
