The 12 s.h. certificate in dual language immersion (DLI) administration provides teacher leaders, school leaders, and district administrators with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement successful DLI programs in schools. The overall objective of the program is to provide DLI professional development for individuals that are implementing, maintaining, and assessing DLI programs in schools and districts. Specifically, candidates who successfully complete the certificate will have a broad-based knowledge of how to educate an increasingly linguistically diverse student population.
