The neuroscience minor is designed to provide students with an introduction to the study of neuroscience at the various structural and functional levels of analysis, including molecular, cellular, integrative, and behavioral. The minor requires completion of core courses (20 s.h), a laboratory course (2 or 3 s.h), and an elective course (2-5 s.h.). Students interested in a multidisciplinary studies neuroscience major should contact the neuroscience program coordinator.

The major advisor should send a potential minor to the neuroscience program director for advising.

Multidisciplinary Studies, BA  or Multidisciplinary Studies, BS  with a structured concentration in neuroscience is available. Interested students should contact the neuroscience director for more information.
