The Information and Computer Technology, BS is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering and prepares students for a career in cloud technologies, computer networking, cybersecurity, information technology, systems administration, and technical management. Coursework provides a sound base of information technology fundamentals, cybersecurity and advanced work in internetworking and client-server information systems. Much of the curricula is based on formal academy or curricular alliances with industry partners. Opportunities for industrial certifications with these companies are built into the curriculum.

Students are required to have an internship and to complete a two-semester professional capstone project. Additional opportunities to obtain further industry experience through co-op positions and course-based projects in the program, and by graduating with extra credentials.

Credit toward an information and computer technology major will not be given for any ICTN course with a grade less than C (2.0).

The degree requires a minimum of 120 s.h. as follows:
