Minimum of 3 s.h. required for the applied research concentration. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 s.h. Each credit hour is equivalent to 3 hours of laboratory or fieldwork per week. P: Consent of instructor.

Supervised independent research for advanced undergraduate students in an appropriate area of interest in the geological sciences.
