Applications of singularity functions; properties of Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) systems; representations of physical systems using differential and difference equations; convolution; Fourier series; Fourier transform, Laplace transform, and z-transform in sampling; modulation; filtering; and digital signal processing (DSP) with relevant examples in electrical, mechanical, and biomedical engineering.
