MUSC 2355 - Group Piano for Music Therapy Majors

2 studio hours per week are required. May be repeated for maximum of 2 s.h. P: MUSC 1115.

This course is designed to develop practical, real-world keyboard skills essential for clinical settings. Students will engage with repertoire across multiple genres, hone accompanying and improvisation skills, and learn how to adapt their playing to meet the diverse and unpredictable needs of music therapy sessions, and culminate in a community-based performance project that blends music, service, and reflection.
