Integrating social studies and English education, the course equips residency qualified teachers to foster critical thinking, civic engagement, and community awareness. Participants will examine key issues such as curriculum standards, content controversies, and professional challenges while exploring strategies for building classroom success for all and facilitating academic discourse. Through analysis of readings, teaching performances, discussions, and projects, educators learn to design interdisciplinary curricula.
