Academic units within the College of Human Ecology will relocate to other colleges within the university early in the fall of 2015. Please check the What’s New? section of this catalog for regular updates regarding the following university reorganization.
- Department of Interior Design and Merchandising, Department of Human Development and Family Science, and the School of Social Work will relocate to the College of Health and Human Performance.
- Department of Criminal Justice will relocate to the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences.
- School of Hospitality Leadership will relocate to the College of Business.
The College of Human Ecology is comprised of the Departments of Criminal Justice, Human Development and Family Science, Interior Design and Merchandising, and the Schools of Hospitality Leadership and Social Work. The college incorporates leadership development and community outreach into the classrooms as well as its research and creative activity endeavors.
