The security studies minor is designed to provide an interdisciplinary overview of security-related issues, policies, and infrastructure that has developed in response to homeland and international challenges. The program is designed to accommodate students from a broad spectrum of degree programs within the university who have a desire to apply their majors to the growing security community, whether it be at local, state, and federal governments, or in the private or nonprofit sectors.
The minor program, coordinated through the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Science, requires 18 s.h. credit.
