The minor in atmospheric science offers a general competence in weather and climate, to complement a major in related fields such as geography, geology, engineering, as well as the social and biological sciences. Students have the option to pursue elective courses in weather phenomena, remote sensing, climate, weather hazards, and related topics. There is no formal calculus or physics requirement for the minor.
