Teaching English in the Two-Year College Certificate

The Teaching English in the Two-Year College Certificate is designed for qualified candidates who wish to further their education in the field of teaching English at the community or two-year college.
Applicants seeking admission to this program must hold a BA, BS, or an equivalent degree from an accredited college or university in the US or overseas. Nonnative speakers must submit an acceptable score on one of the language tests approved by the Graduate School or evidence of at least 1 year of college/university study in the United States. Students interested in pursuing the certificate can enroll in the certificate only or can pursue the certificate while enrolled in an ECU graduate program. Admission is based on completion of the ECU certificate application and approval by the program coordinator.
