The security studies minor is designed to provide an interdisciplinary overview of security-related issues, policies, and infrastructure that has developed in response to homeland and international challenges. The program is designed to accommodate students from a broad spectrum of degree programs within the university who have a desire to apply their majors to the growing security community, whether it be at local, state, and federal governments, or in the private or non-profit sectors.
The minor program, coordinated through the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Science, requires 24 s.h. credit.
