The master of public health requires a minimum of 45 s.h. as follows:

1. Core - 24 - 25 s.h.

Note:

* Students in the epidemiology concentration must take MPH 6702.

2. Applications - 6 s.h.

3. Concentrations and electives - 14-15 s.h.

Chosen in consultation with advisor for concentrations, areas of emphasis, or joint degree programs.

Epidemiology - 14 s.h.

Note:

Electives are selected by student in consultation with his or her concentration advisor.

Health Administration - 15 s.h.

Select 9 s.h. as concentration courses and 6 s.h. as electives from the following courses.

Note:

Electives are selected in consultation with the faculty advisor based on student’s career plans, prior degree, previous coursework, or coursework in dual degree or certificate programs.

Health Behavior - 15 s.h.

Note:

Electives are selected by student in consultation with his or her concentration advisor.
