Minimum degree requirement is 32-33 s.h. as follows:

Candidates for the master of music in theory-composition must submit an original composition-thesis of substantial proportions and present a full concert recital of pieces composed while in residence at East Carolina University. Candidates for the theory option must submit a thesis.
