P: MATE 1267, MATE 2067, MATE 3067, and MATE 3167. Capstone course in modeling for teachers. Investigation of models such as Mendelian Genetics, Markov Chains, Weighted Voting, and population models. Development of models to solve real-world problems using a variety of mathematical strands. Applications taken from K-12 mathematics.
