Quality improvement consists of systematic and continuous actions that lead to measurable improvement in health care services and the health status of targeted patient/population groups. The course focuses on quality improvement and its application and importance in public health practice. At the end of this course, the student will have completed the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Basic Certification in Quality and Safety.
