C: NURS 6895. Builds upon the foundational knowledge of physical assessment, pharmacology, and pathophysiology to refine techniques of history-taking, physical examination, and diagnostics in the acute care setting. Students develop clinical reasoning to care for the acutely ill adult and geriatric population through advanced clinical assessment, the development of differential diagnoses, and the creation of appropriate evidence-based interventions rooted in clinical reasoning.
