The Department of Mathematics, Science and Instructional Technology Education (MSITE) offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics education, science education, and instructional technology. The undergraduate programs are designed to prepare for a career as a classroom teacher and content specialist. The graduate programs offer opportunities to earn masters degrees and advanced certificates in mathematics education, science education, and instructional technology. The Department offers both campus-based and online programs.
MAEd and MAT in Science Education
For requirements for the master of arts in education (MAEd) in science education and in instructional technology, and the master of arts in teaching (MAT) , please see the College of Education . The MAEd program leads to advanced licensure; the MAT program leads to initial licensure.
