The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology offers the master of science in criminal justice, an accelerated bachelor of science/master of science in criminal justice, certificate in criminal justice education, certificate in criminology, and certificate in higher and adult education in criminal justice. Students can also fulfill some of their degree requirements with the certificate in public management and leadership and the certificate of security studies (offered by the Department of Political Science). All programs are fully online. Program admission is competitive, and priority application deadlines are March 1 and August 1. Final appication deadlines are May 15 and October 15.
The master of science in criminal justice prepares students for professional advancement, further graduate study, or teaching in a post-secondary criminal justice and criminology program.
