The forensic science interdisciplinary minor focuses on criminal investigation, crime scene investigation, and the management of criminal evidence. The minor is a natural complement to the criminal justice major, but would also benefit students in related fields such as anthropology, political science, psychology, and sociology.
To be admitted to the minor in forensic science, students must complete JUST 1000 with a grade of C (2.0) or higher and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students are expected to maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 throughout the program.
