The Health Care Management Certificate covers financial, legal, and operational aspects specific to healthcare, distinguishing them from challenges in other industries. It equips students for managerial roles across various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, outpatient centers, long-term care facilities, research firms, home healthcare agencies, and health insurance companies.

This certificate is open to students enrolled in MBA and MSA programs at East Carolina University. MBA students may choose to use their electives to complete the certificate.

The certificate requires 12 s.h. as follows: 

Required courses - 6 s.h.

Electives - 6 s.h.
