The Higher Education Athletics Leadership Certificate is designed to develop skills and abilities for individuals to resolve educational issues and problems in the intercollegiate athletics setting. Program studies include the history of higher education with an intercollegiate athletics emphasis; philosophies undergirding higher education policy, structure, and practice; organization and administration of intercollegiate athletics in the US, student development, regulations, and the law; budgeting; marketing; higher education finance; and philanthropy and fundraising.

A baccalaureate degree is required for admission to this certificate program.
