2 lab hours per week C: IENG 2076. Review of fundamental manual programming for numerical control machines. Topics include computer numerical control (CNC) machine types, controls, safety, and coordinate measuring systems; CNC speed and feed calculations, tooling and fixturing; and programming CNC mills and lathes; computer controlled laser cutting and engraving. Self-paced. Hands-on experience with CNC machines and simulations in virtual reality.
