NURS 6116 - Nurse-Midwifery Management: Postpartum Care and Neonatal Care

May be repeated upon readmission to the concentration. P: Admission to a nurse-midwifery program or consent of instructor and program director.  Focuses on American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) core competencies for promoting health in essentially healthy neonates and birthing people during the puerperium, including management of postpartum and neonatal complications. Supervised on-site practicum by clinical preceptor.
