BIME 5600 - Experimental Methods in Engineering

Two lecture hours and two lab hours are required each week. P: Graduate status or consent of instructor. Key practical knowledge of measurement and data processing approaches in engineering. Data acquisition theory, instrumentation, sensors, nondestructive evaluation, data reduction, statistical and uncertainty analysis. Experience in designing, performing, and reporting experiments on mechanical and thermal systems.
