P/C: ICTN 6890. Examines the security aspects of IoT and embedded systems that are deployed in critical infrastructure systems. Includes the application of proven cybersecurity principles and approaches to the design, development, testing, and deployment of IoT and embedded systems elements in today’s complex critical infrastructure systems while understanding the constraints specific to these technologies. Topics may include communications protocols and vulnerabilities; mobile/IoT network security; security and privacy in edge computing; and device security and supply chain security considerations.
