Engineering applications and analytical models for microbiology, biochemistry, and genetic engineering. Applies engineering principles such as protein, lipid, carbohydrate and nucleic acid biochemistry to enzyme kinetics and regulation, metabolic pathways, mass transfer to biological processes and how cellular formation is altered, and basic concepts of biochemistry.
