For graduate residency qualified teachers. RP: HIED 6111, HIED 6222. The course emphasizes the interconnectedness of social science disciplinary literacies and inquiry-based learning to prepare residents to meet the needs of all of their students in social studies education. Teacher residents will be engaged in exploring, evaluating and applying disciplinary specific inquiry strategies in history, economics, civics and geography.
