Sexual and Reproductive Health Certificate

The Sexual and Reproductive Health Certificate provides students a foundation of core concepts associated with sexual and reproductive health. It also includes training in the development of effective education and programming to promote sexual and reproductive health in a variety of professional settings. The certificate is open to all majors.

The certificate requires 12 s.h. as follows:

Core - 6 s.h.

HLTH 2050 - Sexual Health
HLTH 4410 - Planning, Implementing, and Assessing Sexuality Education

Electives - 6 s.h.

Choose two courses from the following:

HDFS 1103 - Individual, Family, and Romantic Relationships
HDFS 4006 - Families, Sexuality, and Gender Roles
PSYC 4350 - Psychology of Sexual Behavior
SOCI 1025 - Sociology of Intimate Relationships
