The Exercise and Sports Science Minor is designed to provide students with an overview of exercise science knowledge. Students structure the program to prepare for allied health graduate programs and gain competencies in the health and fitness industry. Considerable attention is devoted to the biological, physical, and psychological outcomes related to participation in exercise and sport.
Students who minor in exercise and sport science may not major in the Health Fitness Specialist, BS program. Students who are in good academic standing may declare the minor by contacting the program coordinator or an academic advisor.
The minor requires 24 s.h. as follows:
