Merchandising Minor

A Merchandising Minor allows students to meld their chosen major knowledge and skills with the expansive and diverse fashion merchandising industry. Common career paths are apparel and retailing entrepreneurship; planning and executing creative store displays; social media marketing and management for apparel and retail brands; apparel product development; apparel and retail public relations; event planning; social psychology and consumer behavior; retail analytics; apparel buying, planning, and sourcing; and sustainability and circular fashion operations.
To be eligible to declare the Merchandising Minor, a student must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. In addition, to complete the minor, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in the minor.
