Strength and Conditioning Minor

The Strength and Conditioning Minor is designed for students with an interest in pursuing professions in strength and conditioning, physical therapy, athletic training, or personal training. To be eligible for admission to the minor a student must have earned at least 60 credits, have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5, be declared in a major, and have completed the strength and conditioning application process, including additional observation hours outside of the practicum experience. Students must earn a C or higher in all graded courses in the minor including the two practicum experiences.

The Strength and Conditioning Minor requires a minimum of 21 s.h. of course work, including 300 hours of practicum experience under an approved certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) instructor.
