Students work under the direct supervision of an on-site clinical preceptor. P: NURS 6893, NURS 6895; C: NURS 6896. This initial clinical course focuses on the management of adult and geriatric patients experiencing common health problems across diverse acute care settings. Emphasis is on the clinical application of theoretical knowledge and shared decision-making skills using evidence-based practice.
